LICENSE TO CARRY CLASS DETAILS
(Formerly Concealed Handgun License)

The classes held at restaurants or other locations, the range portion will be held at a local or private range nearby! So bring your pistol and ammo if you have one and leave in your vehicle!

The License to Carry course (formerly Concealed Hangun License) is approximately 4-5 hours of classroom time plus the range proficiency. The content of the course is established by the Texas DPS. A Texas License to Carry is honored in 35 states (must obey States individual laws).  Open Carry of handgun in TX is effective January 1, 2016 -- (you must be licensed).

We provide the following during the course

State mandated course content & LTC 100 Training Certificate
Handgun Certification at the range the same day unless noted
Texas LTC Packet -- easy steps on filling out the state application and information on how to schedule your fingerprinting.

You will need to bring the following:

Bring your pistol with 50 rounds of ammunition (can now use a .22 if you want, NO caliber restriction).

     (We have pistol and ammo available if needed $)

    *** BRING EYE AND EAR PROTECTION / MUFFS OR PLUGS - CAN BE PURCHASED IN CLASS  -  COVID19

Bring your payment. We accept CASH and checks. NO Credit Cards.

Dress accordingly for the weather. We will spend part of the day outside at the range. 

      BRING WATER OR DRINKS IF YOU WANT - WATER CAN BE PURCHASED THERE

***Active Duty Military-If you have a military firearms range proficiency card-you will only need the classroom portion!!!

Classes are limited to the first 30 applicants.
